Tomorrow morning, my family and I will be traveling to LAX to pick up a little Beagle puppy. We just recently lost our dog, and my grandma needs a dog in her life, so the next day a little 10-month old Beagle had been selected, purchased, and arrangements were being made.
I've never owned a puppy before. Every dog I've ever had has been at least a year old, so this will be an incredibly new experience for me.
As I sit here writing this blog, I'm tired. I'll be staying up late tonight cleaning the carpet in the living room, clearing the trash and general disarray out of my bedroom, etc. We'll be getting up early (for me) to get to LAX on time. And from then on, we'll be dealing with an excited little ball of fur. I'm excited, too, but I'm well aware that tomorrow I will be exhausted.
I say this as a means of checking in. Tonight I am exhausted. Tomorrow I drink my Reliv shake before I even attempt to do anything in my waking hours. I'll check in tomorrow when I can tell how an early shake will help me out.
