New Puppy!

Well, yesterday at 10:30am, our puppy landed at LAX.  We picked him up from the airport and signed all the paperwork and brought him home.  He's adorable!  He likes chew toys, but he prefers to just chew on the tags attached to things.

As promised in the last entry, I took my Reliv shake in the morning before we left.  That shake woke me up and gave me the energy to keep me awake and to carry that puppy from the airport to the car, through the car trip, and into the house.  I was also able to keep myself going through the rest of the day, including karaoke with friends until 2am.  Granted, I had other food throughout the day, but that shake was a great start to the day.  By contrast, I haven't had my shake yet (as I'm writing this post), and I can really feel it.  Once I get this adorable puppy off my lap, I'll go make myself that shake.

The thing I'm most thankful for is the fact that my schedule is so free that I can be home for this little puppy.  I have school on Monday and Wednesday afternoon to evening, and Reliv meetings Tuesday evenings.  Shortly after I leave, my mom comes home and can help take care of the puppy, and the time in between my grandma will be watching him.  I'm also continuing to work on my own company to perform elementary school assemblies (for more information, check out our website here), and our meetings take place in my home on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so I can keep an eye on him.  If I had to juggle a full-time job, there would be no way that I could take care of this dog.  But because I'm working for home and becoming more and more functionally self-employed, I can be here a great deal of the time and not have to worry too much about money!

(I'll try to upload pictures soon, 'cause he's just so durn cute.)
